We are delighted to announce (as published in PR Week, July 2018) that Toyota Great Britain (TGB) has re-appointed PRN, as we approach three years of working together. A new two-year contract will see the PRN team continue to manage consumer and lifestyle PR activity for both the Toyota and Lexus brands in the UK through to 2020.
Over the past few years, we have been responsible for the UK press coverage of some of Toyota and Lexus’ most successful campaigns - including Origami Car and Ice Wheels - and established solid relationships for both brands across the UK's most influential consumer, lifestyle and luxury media.
PRN’s client services director Russ Read-Barrow will continue to oversee the team of senior independent consultants, who - in contrast to a traditional agency - work both remotely and on-site in TGB’s Epsom offices regularly each month.
James Clark, Press Relations Manager at TGB said: “The PR Network’s virtual agency model makes a huge amount of sense to brands like Toyota and Lexus in the UK. The flexible nature of the team - the fact they work both with us in the office and virtually - has embedded them within our business, creating a real one-team model. We get senior consultants that we can trust to do a great job, with no hand holding required and no unnecessary overheads. We’re very happy to continue working together, and build on the successes of the last few years.”
We’ve announced some great wins in 2018 so far, but nothing beats an existing client that’s happy to sign up to another two years of working together. This is a testament to the quality of our senior associates, the flexibility of our model and the long term relationships we are able to build with our clients.
