The London Eye Celebrates 25 Years of Iconic Views and Star Power
Can you believe it? The London Eye just turned 25. From a temporary millennium project to a permanent fixture on the city’s skyline, it has welcomed over 85 million visitors, hosted world-famous events, and appeared in blockbuster films.
Since its first rotation, the Eye has become a true icon. And for its big birthday, Merlin Entertainments decided to go all out.
They created a short film, “Turning 25: London’s Eye,” packed with stories from some pretty remarkable people: David Harewood, Russell Tovey, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Oleksandr Usyk, and architect Julia Barfield herself. Each one shares how the Eye has shaped London’s cultural landscape and why it still matters - a love letter to the city’s favourite wheel.
We were thrilled to help spread the word far and wide, securing top tier media coverage across France, Italy, and Germany for this special moment. Highlights included Le Figaro (France), Il Sole 24 Ore and ANSA (Italy), Spiegel (Germany), Mediaset (Italy), and many more.
Here’s to the team for absolutely nailing it on our very first project together. And here’s to the London Eye - still spinning, still iconic, and still making London a little more magical every day.
