PRN shortlisted for ‘Best UK consultancy to work for’

We’re delighted to share that we’ve been chosen as a finalist in the "Best UK Consultancies to Work For 2024’ in the Provoke Media awards!

What makes this extra special is that we’ve been shortlisted based on direct feedback from our team.

Our agency was founded in 2005 with a family-first, flexible approach, and an authentic commitment to remote working. We have three core values - trust, transparency and team. From building long-term business relationships, to welcoming everyone, our culture is built on a positive can-do spirit where we seek out ‘better ways’ of working and actively champion our team’s wellbeing, supporting initiatives that matter to us all.

These values remain at the heart of our purpose today.

What else makes us unique?

  • The average retention of our team is 10+ years - our clients love our continuity of service and extremely low turnover

  • We’re a B Corp

  • We’re 100% remote, allowing us to hire the best people in the industry, not just those who are in commutable distance to an office. In return, our clients get PR experts working with them, ensuring retention (our longest-standing client, Zipcar, has been with us for 11 years) and agency growth

  • Our ‘family-first’ ethos ensures our team has flexibility which they repay in loyalty and hard work. Our core team of 11 is made up of eight part-time employees, one on condensed hours and two job shares. Our MD works from her base in Cornwall and the rest of the team spans the counties of Surrey, Kent, Essex, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Somerset. We’re also all parents (27 children between us) at different stages of our parental journey from primary school to university

  • We operate an employee giving fund where each team member can donate £500 to a charity of their choice. Last year to celebrate 18 years of being in business we donated £50,000 to 25 charities and good causes that were important to us as a collective

  • We’re committed financially to OnePercent (a fundraising initiative aimed at increasing diversity within the media industry and challenging systemic racism) and Socially Mobile (the not-for-profit PR school equipping the workforce of today for the challenges of tomorrow)

And the cherry on the cake - we have a network of over 1,300 comms consultants spanning 60 plus countries who have shared their thoughts on our culture via 5* ratings on Glassdoor - ‘flexible, fun, friendly, a culture of openness and honesty, and a truly unique business’ are just some of the lovely comments we’ve received.

19 years ago we set about building a business with heart. Today, being recognised as one of the UK’s best consultancies to work for really is a special acknowledgement that we don’t take for granted.

If you're interested to learn more about working with us, or what it's like to be a client, we’d love to hear from you.
