Hello from PRN’s newest team member

Sarah Hollingsworth

This week I started a brand new role at The PR Network as Client Services Director.

When asked by my family and friends what I was most looking forward to in this role, the answer was simple. The family first approach.

I’ve been a mum for four years now. It completely shook my life up (for the better) and made me completely reassess what I wanted and needed from my career. Not only was this about having time to spend with the kids, but also the emotional rollercoaster of managing childcare costs; the constant worry of being able to drive my career at reduced hours; the mum guilt.

Working for a company that is very flexible when it comes to adapting work patterns to family needs has been a key focus for me. It’s what my family needs right now.

The PR Network offers this in bucket loads and I’m delighted to be joining a company that has always been so forward thinking when it comes to families. Joining the team also offers me an opportunity to stretch my PR legs out and join a new, close knit PR family who are delivering some amazing work for clients. I’m excited to be starting and getting stuck in.

So what else do you need to know about me?

I started my PR career back in 2011 working at IBM as an intern during university. After that, I joined an agency and gained a ton of experience working in the B2B technology industry. I had the opportunity to work on some amazing projects and clients over the years, including IBM, Salesforce, Workplace by Facebook, NetApp, EY, Fujitsu, Huawei, Cisco, Lloyds of London, Palo Alto Networks and Mimecast. I was also shortlisted as one of PRCA’s Young PR Professionals of the year in 2017.
