Our experience
At The PR Network, we've coached leaders at every level — from CEOs and board members to product managers, technology leads and heads of departments. Whether preparing for a high-stakes interview, a crisis scenario, or a product launch, our media training is designed for today's fast-moving media landscape.
Our approach
- Bespoke: We tailor each session to the individual or group's needs, using real-world scenarios to build confidence and control
- Expert: Our media trainers are journalists or former journalists who know exactly what the press wants and how to get your message across
- Educational: We help spokespeople understand how the media works, what makes a story stand out, and how to respond with clarity and authority. Sessions cover interview techniques such as 'bridging', managing tricky questions, vocal and postural delivery, and handling nerves
- Trusted: As a corporate member of the PRCA, our approach is always ethical, inclusive and respectful of diverse voices
Case study: Pulsant
Challenge
Pulsant had a mix of senior executives — some who had never received media training before, some who had but had limited opportunities to put their skills into practice, and some who needed an understanding of how the media works and what makes a compelling story.
Solution
We developed a series of bespoke media training sessions which addressed the above points, using highly experienced tech and business journalists from the likes of the BBC, Financial Times, The Guardian, The Sunday Times and leading tech titles.
Results
Pulsant's spokespeople are now fully prepared for any media interviews. They have the enthusiasm, confidence and knowledge to tell a cohesive business story without the need for industry jargon.
