Case study: Yoti
- Challenge: Yoti, a global digital identity business, is operating in a rapidly evolving marketplace, with regulations carving a path for new technologies to safeguard people's identities and promote digital, secure access. From a small startup, to carrying out over a billion age checks globally and supporting nearly a third of the world's largest platforms with age assurance, we are supporting Yoti's next stage of growth - developing engagement across international, domestic, business, technology and policy media, while also providing strategic support and advice.
- Solution: The PR Network has kept Yoti firmly on the press agenda as the go-to provider for digital identity and age assurance insights, capitalising on sustained journalist interest in the subjects and the evolving regulatory landscape. Alongside proactive media relations, we provided ongoing strategic communications support around industry developments and product innovation, positioning Yoti as a credible, trusted voice in the conversation around responsible technology. A broadcast highlight was securing an interview for Julie Dawson, Chief Regulatory and Policy Officer, on BBC Radio 4's “Today” programme, while international coverage with Bloomberg and Reuters helped extend Yoti's perspective into the global conversation on digital identity and platform safety.
- Results: 276 pieces of total coverage in H1 2026 (excluding syndications), including 49 pieces of national newspaper, business, TV and radio coverage - plus a landmark interview on BBC Radio 4's Today programme and international placements. The UK government announced in September ‘26 that it is allowing digital ID to be used to purchase alcohol - a real business outcome from our successful collaboration with the team..
